Bret Stephens is an op-ed columnist for The New York Times, writing about foreign policy and domestic politics. He won a Pulitzer Prize for Commentary in 2013 while at The Wall Street Journal, where he was a foreign affairs columnist and deputy editorial page editor and worked as an editorial writer for the Wall Street Journal Europe. From 2002 to 2004, Stephens was editor in chief of The Jerusalem Post. He is the author of the book, America in Retreat: The New Isolationism and the Coming Global Disorder, released in 2014. Stephens is also an on-air contributor to NBC News and MSNBC.
