Brian Greene is a professor of physics and mathematics at Columbia University, where he is director of the Center of Theoretical Physics. He is also the co-founder of the World Science Festival, an organization that creates multimedia experiences to bring science to general audiences. Greene is recognized for a number of groundbreaking discoveries in his field of superstring theory, and his scientific research focuses on the search for Einstein’s dream of a unified theory. His books The Elegant Universe, The Fabric of the Cosmos, The Hidden Reality, and Until the End of Time have collectively spent 67 weeks on New York Times best-seller lists, and were the basis of two award-winning NOVA miniseries, which he hosted.
