David Petraeus is a partner in the investment firm KKR, chairman of the KKR Global Institute, the Judge Widney Professor at University of Southern California, and a personal venture capitalist. Previously, he was director of the CIA and served over 37 years in the US military, including command of US Central Command and command of coalition forces in Iraq and Afghanistan. He has been honored by the US military, State Department, NATO, United Nations, and 13 countries. Petraeus is a senior fellow at Harvard’s Belfer Center, co-chairman of the Woodrow Wilson Institute’s Global Advisory Council, senior vice president of the Royal United Services Institute, and a board member of Optiv, among others.
