
Frederick Riley
Executive Director, Weave: The Social Fabric Project, Aspen Institute
Frederick Riley is the executive director of Weave: The Social Fabric Project at the Aspen Institute, working to strengthen social trust in communities across the United States. Prior to this, he was the chief advancement officer at YMCA of Greater Cincinnati, providing strategic leadership in financial development. Previously, Riley was the national director of urban development for YMCA of the USA and held leadership roles at YMCA of Southwest Illinois, Metro Atlanta YMCA, and the National Conference of Black Mayors. Passionate about the development of communities and their people, he has spent almost two decades ensuring the positive life trajectory for youth with a focus on urban, underserved communities and poverty.
