Kenneth L. Davis is president and CEO of the Mount Sinai Health System in New York City, which experienced a severe outbreak of COVID-19 cases as the pandemic’s original US epicenter and served as a response model as the disease spread. With Davis at the helm, Mount Sinai has been at the forefront of research and treatment. He is a leader in the move away from fee-for-service medicine to population health, aiming to keep more patients healthy and out of the hospital. A neurobiologist, elected member of the Institute of Medicine, and author of over 575 scientific articles, Davis’s honors include the George H. W. Bush Lifetime of Leadership Award from Yale University. He is a trustee of the Aspen Institute.
